This 3D-package is our best for 3D maneuvers. What's different from the 3D-package are the cyclic servos give up a bit of speed (10%) but on the flip side, you gain 62% more torque.
On balance this is better if your collective-management skills are such you need to perform high-energy maneuvers like tick-tocks and piro-flips along with rainbows with more crispness (more abrupt stops). So the greater torque (whilst maintaining extreme speed) is what you pay the big bucks for!
As with the 3D-package, if you're not flying 3D, e.g. you fly sportsman maneuvers, then you are unlikely to feel the difference in performance due to their speed and thus, will be wasting your money.
These are the best servos money can buy for flying aggressive 3D-maneuvers because in addition to being extremely powerful and fast, they're super light, have stainless steel gear trains, use brushless motors, and meet 8 MIL-STDs.
